HOW TO ACTIVATE GOOGLE 2FA ON THE NAIJACRYPTO APP

Now that you have created an account on the Naijacrypto app it is important that you activate 2FA for your account. It is compulsory to have an extra layer of security for your account.

There are two kinds of 2FA verification available, Email 2FA and Google 2FA so this article will show you how to activate the google 2FA for your account on the mobile app.

• Log in to your account on the app, click the sidebar at the top left of the screen.

• Click on ‘Security and KYC’ to get started.

• Select ‘2FA verification’

• Click the enable button for google 2FA

• The activation key and QR code for the account will popup, then click ‘copy’

NOTE: You should save the private activation key that has been generated for cases when you loose your phone and you have to re-download the google authenticator app.

• Go to your authenticator app, paste the key, and select ‘add’ to create a new set of keys for your Naijacrypto account.

• Once it has been added to the authenticator, you will start receiving a set of numbers that change every 30 seconds.
• Copy the numbers that show and input them on the Naijacrypto app.

• When that is completed, the status of your 2FA verification will change to verified.

That’s how you can simply activate your Google 2FA. If any circumstances occur that you lose your 2FA set of codes, it can always be resolved by Naijacrypto support.
